Families in the IHN Home for Good program each recently received a Thanksgiving basket filled with a turkey and all the trimmings, thanks to volunteers from The Winston School in Short Hills, the Junior League of the Oranges and Short Hills, Temple Sholom of West Essex, Saint Paul Baptist Church, and the Saint Philomena Sharing Office.
Baskets included everything from turkeys, to fresh vegetables, home-baked desserts, and corn bread mixes. Each family also received a fleece blanket thanks to Seth Frey who procured them as part of his bar mitzvah project. IHN is grateful for the generosity of each person who played a part in ensuring that IHN parents had everything they needed to celebrate a festive Thanksgiving with their family.
